Obituary: Reid, Melba Frances

REID, Melba Frances (Age 86) Passed away on August 30, 2014 due to natural causes in Spokane Valley, WA.

She now joins her husband of 58 years, life-long partner and high school sweetheart, Art Reid, who died in 2005 and is survived by her seven children, Steven Reid (Sue), Michael Reid (Patty), Lorna Wilske(Mike), Matthew Reid (Jean), Melba Marie Reid, Becky Reid and John Reid (Judy); two brothers, Melvin Le Baugh and David Le Baugh; sister, Lorna Morgan; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

Melba Frances and Art enjoyed traveling the world together and she was always ready for a road trip.

She was still bowling and was currently on a team in the Spokane Valley.

She was a trooper until the end.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Alwin Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St., Spokane.

She will be buried next to her husband, Art in Champagne-Urbana, IL.
