Obituary: Forster, John J.
Age 94
(Age 94) John J. Forster of Spokane passed away at home on September 15, 2014, of natural causes.
He was born on the family farm in Richardton, ND, on December 16, 1919, to Mariam and Jacob Forster, and was the youngest of nine children.
After attending college, he taught grade school in a one room schoolhouse in North Dakota.
After moving to Spokane, he was a repair man for Montgomery Wards, where he retired from in 1980.
John is survived by his three son’s, Robert, Spokane, WA, Greg (Gayle) of Waterloo, IA, Dennis (Desiree) of Spokane, WA.
He had five grandchildren: Christoper, Daniel, Lori, Shaena and Bryce; and three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Sophia and Carson.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Carolyn (age 76) on October 20, 2001; and his daughter, Sharon (age 11) on March 31, 1962.
A Rosary will be held September 26th, 6:30PM at St. Xavier Church, 3715 N. Standard St, Spokane, WA 99207.
Memorial services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel on September 27th, 10:30AM, 7200 N. Wall St, Spokane, WA 99208.
Interment immediately following.
