Former Courgar McCabe 10th at World Rowing Championships

Mollie McCabe, a former Washington State Cougar, competed at the 2014 World University Rowing Championships in Northern France, where her Canadian women’s four crew had a 10th-place finish.

A native of Brockville, Ontario, McCabe’s crew placed fourth in its opening heat and third in the repechage, which put it in the B Final, where it also finished fourth and 10th overall.

McCabe rowed for the Cougars for four seasons, 2011-14, helping lead WSU to three NCAA Championship appearances. Her second varsity eight crew placed 10th her freshman year, 14th as a junior and 11th as a senior in the 2014 championships.
