Obituary: Reiha, Clair “Pinky”

Age 96

REIHA, Clair “Pinky” (Age 96) Pinky was born on July 30, 1918, in Reardan Hospital, and passed away March 25, 2015, in Spokane Valley, WA.

Pinky moved to Orchard Crest Retirement Home in 2001, where he had a wonderful woodshop, build-ing amazing wood chests, wall hangings and birdhouses.

He was the longest living resident at Orchard Crest until his passing, aged 96.

Pinky is survived by his sister, Pauline Moeckel; son, Jim (Gwen) Reiha; daughter, Kathi (Doug) Reiha-Schmoldt; granddaughters, Shayla Campbell and Teri (Albery) Lockhart; daughter-in-law, Ruth Reiha; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane and the caring staff at Orchard Crest for providing such loving and comfortable care to ease Daddy-O’s passing.

There will be a casual Celebration of Life for family and friends on Sunday, April 12, 2015, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Orchard Crest retirement facility, 222 W. Evergreen Road, Spokane, WA 99216, in the fourth floor recreation room.
