Obituary: Ryan, Ruth Lucille

RYAN, Ruth Lucille (Age 95) Passed away on April 1, 2015.

Ruth was born in Hulbert, Michigan on July 31, 1919 to Clyde and Myrtle (Gill) Scheffler.

Ruth was raised in Noxon, MT and married Charlie Ryan in 1937 in Polson, MT.

They had three children.

Ruth worked at Webster Lumber Co. and also as a waitress for many years.

She was a member of Dukes Auto Club, VFW Auxiliary, DAV Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Charlie, and the Hot Rod Lincoln all over the U.S. and Canada.

The last years of her life she was cared for by Allen’s Adult Family Home & Hospice.

Ruth was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Preceding Ruth in death were her parents, seven siblings, her husband, son Joe Ryan, as well as by a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Lovingly remembering Ruth are her children: Bev (Rick) Triber and Theresa Hambrook, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren, two siblings, and lots of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be on Saturday, April 11, 2pm at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA followed by a reception at the VFW Post #1435, 212 S. David, Spokane WA.
