Obituary: Mortlock, Daniel Earl

Born June 12, 1953 in Seattle, WA, God “seized” him suddenly on Monday, April 6th, and took him home early Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Spokane, WA.
Dan is survived by his mother, Brownie; brothers Len, Dave (Nancy), Gary (Rhonda), Rick (Maureen), Pete (Donna), Tim (Carolyn), and Philip; sisters Judy (John) Ortner, and Becky (Russ) Manning; his former wife Fulya, and daughter, Tiffany.
Dan was preceded in death by grandpa, Earl Harold Mortlock; grandma Agnes Wertz; dad Earl G. Mortlock; and sister-in-law Janis Mortlock.
Dan was clever, creative, challenging, competitive, compassionate and most importantly a caring friend.
He was a high school teacher in Hermiston, Turkey, Battle Ground, and most recently at the Spokane Skills Center (Newtech).
A Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, April 15, 6:00 p.m. at Indian Trail Church, 9010 N. Indian Trail Road.
