Jim was born in Pullman, Washington on June 3, 1929, to Charles and Edna Pyle.
Jim became a full-time fire fighter and served the Pullman Fire Department for 39 years.
Jim, a quiet man of integrity, was deeply committed to his Christian faith and to his family and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Charles; mother Edna; sisters Evelyn Abendroth and Charlotte Turner; and brother Delmer Pyle.
Jim is survived by his wife Joan; brother R.O.
(Shirley) Pyle, of Pullman; his three children, Connie (Jerry) Kyllo, of Pullman, Ron (Julie) Pyle of Spokane, and Jodi Pyle, of Spokane; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on April 26, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 111 South Thor, Spokane, WA.
