Obituary: Brady, Donna Lee
Donna was born on November 20, 1939 in Bellingham, WA to Cliff and Dorothy Lindstrom.
The oldest of three children, she played an important part in the up-bringing of her younger siblings, Bob and LaVon.
Donna graduated from North Central High School in 1957.
In April of 1958, while her and a girlfriend were out “galavanting” in Post Falls, she met a handsome young Airmen from Tennessee.
Who knew that fateful meeting would unite two soul mates, life partners, best friends and soon to be - husband and wife.
Jim and Donna were married on November 21, 1958 and so began one of the most beautiful love stories to be heard.
Soon after Jim and Donna were wed, their oldest son Jim was born.
Shortly after, they welcomed their second son Mike, a daughter Kim, and their youngest child, Alan.
After her husband’s Air Force retirement, they moved back to Spokane in 1975.
Donna spent her life giving to others.
She was the most selfless, loving person that many have ever known.
Her grandchildren loved her like a mother.
She played a part in the raising and caring for of so many children and has always been such a place of comfort to so many.
She held many jobs over the years; from a nurse, counselor, seamstress, chef - all while enjoying her life as a homemaker.
She was a beautifully dedicated, supportive and loving wife and best friend to her husband Jim.
She was the most amazing and appreciated Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunt, and friend that anyone could ever hope for.
We hope that she can now fully understand the important role that she held in the lives of so many and just how much she was and always will be loved.
She was so many peoples “everything”.
She was the type of person that would notice only two pieces of pie for three people and would politely say that she’s never cared much for pie anyways.
Donna is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Jim.
Three sons, Jim, Mike and Alan and a daughter, Kim.
Grandchildren: Kristy, Michelle, Amanda, Danielle, David and Claire.
Great-grand- children: Austin, Brady, Cody, Halli and Jeremiah.
Brother, Robert Lindstrom and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
The family gives special thanks to Dr. Joni Nichols of CCNW and Pastor John Underhill of South Hill Bible Church.
A celebration of Donna’s beautiful life will be held this Friday, April 24th @6pm at South Hill Bible Church, 958 E. 29th, Spokane, WA.
“God will cover you with his strength and love.
I know this…..like I know the sun will rise.”
You will be so missed by so many but this isn’t goodbye - just, until we meet again.
