Obituary: Schoenwald, Stanley Frederick

Age 85

SCHOENWALD, Stanley Frederick (Age 85) Was born on January 19, 1930, to Bertha and Fred Schoenwald.

He went to be with the Lord at 4:29pm, April 12, 2015, surrounded by family.

He was an incredibly loving uncle, brother and son.

During his life he wore many hats: He grew up on the family farm, logging, cutting roads with dozers, and other very physical work.

With his huge hands and huge heart, he was always there to help anyone, including friends and relatives.

From the farm, he went into sales, first starting a hardware/lumber business called the “Bargain Barn” then moving onto real estate.

He also bought and sold machinery, cars and pickups.

His integrity, honesty and no-nonsense manner were well-known and appreciated with those in business, with friends and most of all by family members, whom he assisted many times throughout his life.

His laughter and sense of humor will be remembered.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy M. Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road in Spokane Valley.
