Small fire burning near Indian Canyon

A small fire is burning near the Greenwood Trailer Park near Indian Canyon. The two or three acre blaze is located in scattered timber. No evacuations have been issued, according to a Spokane Fire Department news release. Forty firefighter from Airway Heights, Fairchild Air Force Base and District 9 are on scene. A bulldozer and two airplanes are also assisting. The fire is about 20 percent contained, according to the news release.
