Obituary: Gerner, Mary Ellen

GERNER, Mary Ellen Mary Ellen Gerner, 76, peacefully passed away in Spokane Valley, WA on July 31, 2015.

Mary Ellen was born to Wilma and Clarence Jeffries in Salem, OH.

Mary Ellen grew up with seven brothers and one sister.

Survived by three brothers, Leland, Butch, and James; two children, Norm and Valerie; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mary Ellen touched many people’s lives with acts of kindness helping the homeless for many years with food and kind words of hope.

Mary Ellen will be truly missed by so many family and friends.

A memorial service will be held August 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Westminster Church, 411 S. Washington, Spokane, WA.
