Obituary: Maack, Theodore Daniel “Ted”

MAACK, Theodore Daniel “Ted” Ted passed away on July 28, 2015, surrounded by his family.

He was born April 3, 1941 in Whitehall, MT, son of Gustav and Ava ‘Ella’ Maack.

After graduating from Hardin High School, Ted joined the Air Force and served from 1960 to 1964 at Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA.

He returned to Montana to attend Montana State University in Bozeman, graduating in 1972.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, collecting coins, gardening, golf.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Daniel Maack and his parents.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Michelle Sanchez (husband Jim); grandchildren: Eric, Davis, Sara, Erin, Deviny, Dru; sister Sharon Lee (Camas, WA); brother ‘Bobby’ (Kansas City, MO); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206 on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00am.

Interment will be at Custer National Battlefield Cemetery, Crow Agency, Montana, on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00am.
