Brandon Marshall calls Jets teammate Darrelle Revis best cornerback ever
Brandon Marshall has seen enough of new Jets teammate Darrelle Revis (pictured) to declare him the best cornerback in NFL history. The wide receiver, entering his 10th NFL season and first in New York, said in a television interview that he has practiced and played against great cornerbacks during his career – but Revis tops them all. Marshall told ESPN’s “First Take” on Thursday that Revis is the “best in the league” at his position before adding a headline-making – and eyebrow-raising – “ever.” Revis was flattered, saying it’s “an honor” to be called one of the best to play his position. Coach Todd Bowles says it’s tough to compare eras, but calls Deion Sanders the league’s greatest cornerback. – AP
