HOFF, Wilfred J.

(Age 83) Willy passed away peacefully at his lake home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Wilfred was known by many and according to who is asked, he was referred to as either, Bill, Willy, or Will.

He was born March 19, 1932 in Richardton, North Dakota.

He grew up in Spokane, WA with three sisters, Gloria, Betty, Fran and three brothers, Ardwin, Jim, Ted.

He graduated from Rogers High School and then served in the Navy.

Willy married Beverly Beach and they were happily married for 51 years.

They built a beautiful life together full of love and laughter.

They had three children: Greg Hoff of Portland, OR; Dave (Suzan) Hoff, Mesa AZ; Deanne Martinz, Portland, OR.

He was a beloved grandfather to five grandkids: Alex Hoff, Jennifer Fleishman, Joseph Hoff, Garritt Talley, and Mackenzie Martinz.

He was also a great-grandfather to three children: Wyatt, Ryder, and Trinity Fleishman.

Willy had many close Family members including his nephews, Brain and Dan Beach.

After the passing of his first wife, Willy married Lavinia Michaels.

They spent four years together until her passing.

Willy spent a lot of time in his last years with his companion, Suzanne Houge.

Willy had many endeavors, he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as well as owning his own car rental agency.

Willy was adored by many and loved by all.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest.

The Rosary will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 7 PM August 16th and the funeral will be Monday 17th at 11 AM.
