Obituary: Mastel, Oscar Eugene
Age 73
MASTEL, Oscar Eugene (Age 73) Of Spokane, passed away August 11, 2015, holding the hands of his children and his sweetheart of 52 years.
Oscar was born July 16, 1942 in Lodi, California to Ruth and Richard Mastel.
After college he married Nadia “Pixie” Rogers January 25, 1964.
He served aboard the USS Princeton LPH-5, completing three tours of Vietnam, receiving several honors.
He is survived by his wife, children, and four grandchildren, all of Spokane, as well as his three sisters and their families who lovingly remember “Uncle Butch.”
Services will be held at Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake on Friday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m.
