Obituary: Mcdonald, Shirley Annamaria (Bedard)
Age 65
The daughter of Linda A. Schmidt and Malcolm C. Schmidt spent her youth in Spokane, graduating from Shadle Park High School in 1968 and as an adult lived in various locations, wherever her life led her.
She was proud to achieve her dream of a design degree and put it to use as a kitchen designer at Home Depot.
Retirement gave her the opportunity to engage in hobbies like reading, knitting, traveling between homes in Arizona and Michigan with her fiancee.
She loved to travel and lived life to the fullest in the time she was here, often with a dog at her side.
Shirley is preceded in death by her father Malcolm C. Schmidt (2008), her daughter Angela N. Shaw (2012), and her son Brian J. Shaw (1972).
She is survived by her mother Linda A. Schmidt of Sun City West, AZ; her fiancee Virgil F. Grifka of Mussey, MI and Surprise, AZ; her daughter Audra M. Shaw and husband Harold B. Shaw of Cheney, WA; granddaughters Marliese M. Shaw and Korinna L. Shaw of Cheney, WA; and granddaughter Jade A. Turrell of Coeur D’Alene, ID; numerous co-workers, friends, and her dog Charlie.
