Obituary: Hardin, Wes

Age 65

HARDIN, Wes Wes Hardin passed away August 16, 2015.

He was born March 2, 1950, in Spokane to Hugh and Lois Hardin.

Wes graduated from West Valley High School, the class of ‘68.

Wes was a Vietnam Veteran from 1969 - 1971.

He was very proud of his service time and was a life member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Laughlin; and brother, LeeRoy Hardin.

Wes was happily married for 31 years and is survived by his wife, Anne Hiller Hardin; his loving sister, Vonnie Johnson in Clearlake, CA; stepchildren, Kristi McGee and granddaughter Kelly Jo McGee, Stacy, MN and Mark McGee of Spokane, whom he loved very much.

Wes is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as his much loved sister-in-law, Pat Siever of Billings, MT; not to mention his beloved Aussie Border Collie, “Stormy”.

Wes was a camper, who loved to go boating and fishing with Anne and Stormy.

Wes was especially proud of his operating Engineers ranking, as Journeyman at age 64; he felt he was finally someone, everyone could be proud of; having worked for Hanford until November of 2014.

This made him shine with pride.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Wes early in September.

He was dearly loved and will be forever missed.
