Obituary: Atkinson, Nora E.
Age 96
She was born March 12, 1919 to James R. Dailey and Florence (Cornwell) Dailey.
She was one of the first graduating classes of John R. Rogers High School.
She worked for SHMC for 25 years as a nurse’s aide and loved traveling, bingo and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Dailey; son, Jerry J. Hendrickson and husband, “Ed” Edward W. Atkinson.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Dick) Bogenreif, June (Bill) Scates; son, David (Claudia) Hendrickson and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
A private service for family and close friends will take place at a later date at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
