Man dies in motorcycle crash in south Spokane County

A man died in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in south Spokane County. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. near Cheney Plaza Road and Coe Road, a news release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said. Investigators do not know how the crash happened, but do not believe speed or impairment were issues, the release said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcyclist’s identity will be released by the Spokane County medical examiner.
