One dead in I-90 rollover
One person died in a rollover crash early Friday morning on Interstate 90 in Adams County.
The crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. about 15 miles west of Sprague, the Washington State Patrol said.
Benjamin C. James, of Weston, Oregon, was driving west on I-90 when he attempted to pass a semitrailer and lost control of his Ford Explorer, the WSP said. The Explorer rolled and came to rest in the median. James, 39, died at the scene.
The roads were icy at the time of the crash, the WSP said.
