Obituary: Radanovsky, Pearl E.

Age 95

RADANOVSKY, Pearl E. (Age 95) On February 4th, 2015 Pearl Ethel Radanovsky went home to be with her Lord.

She was 95.

She was born in Spokane, Washington on April 26, 1919 to Charles William and Mabel Hussey Collingham and remained a lifetime resident of Spokane.

Pearl worked at the Crescent Department Store for over 20 years.

She also provided child care to numerous families.

Pearl grew up attending the First Baptist Church and met and married Carl L. Radanovsky in 1937.

Later, Pearl and Carl became active members of Spokane Assemblies of God where they attended for 48 years.

In 1990, they started attending the Plymouth Congregational Church.

Pearl remained true to her Christian Faith throughout her life.

Pearl and Carl remained happily married for 68 years before Carl went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2006.

Pearl leaves behind five grandchildren, Steve Plantz of Spokane WA, Raeanne Sager of Kent, WA, Kathleen Plantz of Tillamook, Oregon, Jeffery Plantz, Susan Plantz of the State of Georgia.

In addition, she leaves a nephew, Richard Collingham of Pasco, WA.

Furthermore, she leaves three sisters-in-law: Viola Kennick, Ione McCullough and Ruth Sackman.

Pearl was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ellis L. Collingham and D. Wayne Collingham, and recently by her daughter Janet Wright Kinnick and her great-granddaughter Laura Tela.

Pearl had many great friends and will be severely missed.

Pearl would want to acknowledge her community friends that devotedly supported her in the challenging years leading to her death: Joan Reeser, Sandra Ramsey, Naomi Ovens and Stoddard Hodgson.

Services will be held in Spokane’s Plymouth Congregational Church, 1502 W. 8th Ave., Tuesday, February 10th at 1 pm.

In honor of her memory, contributions may be made to Moody Bible Institute (see on-line website) or the Spokane Humane Society.
