Obituary: Payne, Caras Lynn

PAYNE, Caras Lynn This past year the world lost one of it’s most beloved and wonderful people when Caras Lynn Payne, age 39, of Herndon, Virginia died suddenly from pneumonia alone at her home.

Caras was born in Kalispell, Montana on March 30, 1974, to Larry and Linda (Tripp) Payne.

Caras moved around the country many times as a young girl with her family, had a variety of jobs as a teenager, and graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Caras attended the University of Wisconsin at Waukesha and worked with Moore Oil Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before moving to Herndon, Virginia to be near her immediate family and to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.

She went on to work for Northrup Grumman for several years as a Billing Analyst where she was very fortunate to truly love her job and the people she worked with.

Caras was highly thought of by her co-workers who described her as a stellar performer and a great friend.

Caras aso enjoyed being with family, reading mystery stories, researching health and the human body, watching movies, and traveling.

Caras was very nostalgic and loved to reminisce.

Caras remembered everything and shared that gift with her family and friends.

She lived in the light of God everyday and it shined through her.

She had strong opinions and convictions and she lived her life by them accordingly.

Words cannot begin to capture Caras’ beautiful heart and soul.

She was brilliant in her intelligence, yet, she treated everyone with equal respect and kindness.

Her beauty was not just outward.

It radiated deep within her and reflected her deep faith.

ttCaras is survived by her parents, Larry and Linda Payne of Wickenburg, Arizona and Spokane, Washington; grandmother, Irene (Swandal) Payne of Idaho; brother, Bryan Payne of Washington; sister, Andrea Payne of Montana and numerous extended family in Missoula and Livingston, Montana who mourn her passing.

ttA Celebration of Life was held with a small family gathering in Spokane, Washington.

In memory of a life so faithfully lived and a heart so deeply loved.

Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure.

Caras is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
