Lutheran Community Services Anti-Human Trafficking Coordinator Mabel Elsom will speak.

Free lecture on pruning trees

City to address apartment plans

BROWNE’S ADDITION – Residents of the Browne’s Addition neighborhood have scheduled a meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Browne’s Tavern at Pacific and Cannon to hear from city officials about a proposal to tear down two historic residential structures to make room for a 21-unit apartment house with underground parking.

Councilman Jon Snyder and Heather Trautman, of neighborhood services and code enforcement at City Hall, have been invited.

The two structures, which operate now as converted apartment houses, are adjacent properties at 317 S. Coeur d’Alene St. and 2335 W. Third Ave. The owner is Kettrick Properties.
