Obituary: Barresi, Richard Anthony “Rick”

Age 54

BARRESI, Richard Anthony “Rick” Was born August 10, 1960, in Los Angeles, California.

He passed away January 30, 2015.

Rick lived the first 34 years of his life in the Los Angeles area.

Rick loved to surf up and down the coast of California.

Rick was a very accomplished painter and auto body repair man, having his own shop for twelve years.

Rick moved to North Idaho in 1995 and changed his whole life.

He went to work as a farm hand and took to his new life exceptionally well.

He learned so fast he soon became the farm manager and oversaw the day to day operations.

One of his most favorite things to do was to rake and bale hay.

He also loved painting farm equipment, signs, and yard ornaments.

Rick is survived by his Mother, Priscilla Fedora; son Anthony (Joanna) and three grandchildren; sister, Cheryl (Mark) Borkowski and family; brother, Nicholas (Carol) Fedora and family; one aunt and uncle; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Rockwood Cancer Care; Valley Hospital, and the Hospice House of North Idaho for their wonderful care.

A memorial service celebrating Rick’s life will be held February 21st at 2:00 p.m. at ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL at 1700 N. Spokane Street, Post Falls, Idaho, with a potluck to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick’s name should be sent to Hospice House, 9493 N. Government Way, Coeur d’ Alene, ID.
