Obituary: Scarpelli, Therese Ann
Age 89
Therese was born in Ronan, Montana November 27, 1925 to Albert and Julia Sipes.
She was one of eight children.
She married Joseph Scarpelli June 14, 1947, and together raised eight children; Paul Scarpelli, Susan Wentz, David Scarpelli, Juliann Riggs, Mark Scarpelli, Jeffrey Scarpelli, Leonard Scarpelli and Lisa Scarpelli.
She is survived by her sisters; Monica Schoen, Claire McCollum and Rita Cameron (Gene).
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and her daughter Juliann.
Therese was an accomplished seamstress in many areas including wedding dresses, career clothing, alterations and upholstery.
She was a dedicated volunteer for Assumption Parish for over 50 years.
At the age of 70 she became a skilled watercolor painter and gifted much of her beautiful work to her family and friends.
In addition to being an avid golfer until the age of 85, she was part of a pinochle group, liked to practice yoga and loved to read.
Therese was a devoted wife, mother, and mother in law, grandmother to 15, and great-grandmother to 10 who loved and adored her.
The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. February 28, 2015 at Assumption Parish, 3624 West Indian Trail Road, Spokane, WA 99208.
