Four corners: Washington State Cougars
Coming up: Sunday, WSU at UCLA, 6:30 p.m. (FOX Sports 1)
Outlook: While UCLA will doubtlessly be favored over Washington State at home, the Cougars are forming a habit of beating the Bruins in March, managing it in each of the last two seasons. In each case the UCLA team the Cougars beat looked a lot more formidable than this year’s group, while WSU already has as many conference wins as it finished with in those two years combined. The Bruins have talent and entered the AP Top 25 in week three. But UCLA struggled mightily against a stiff nonconference schedule and has struggled to tread water in the Pac-12.
Leaders:
Scoring: DaVonte Lacy, 17.2
Rebounding: Josh Hawkinson, 10.7
Assists: Ny Redding, 3.8
