Family Dance and Potluck - Easy circle, line, contra, folk and novelty dances with live music for family fun. Designed to encourage young dancers and beginners to move to music and give families quality, crazy time together with lots of laughter. All of the dances are taught by Susan Dankovich, local contra caller and director of the Silver Spurs Youth Folk Dancers. Let There Be Legos at Cheney Library - Bring the family as our traveling Lego Build Day stops at each Spokane County Library throughout 2015. Drop in for an hour or all day and build to your heart’s content. Your awesome creations will be on display at that library for the month. Then they will be dismantled and the Legos shipped off to the next library for its Lego Build Day. Follow the Legos to as many build days as you like. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us the fun, family-friendly activity. All ages welcome, but children 6 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Want more Lego fun? Winter Softball Camps - Sundays, today-Jan. 25. Girls in grades 1-6: 2-4 p.m., grades 7-12: 4-6 p.m. CCS softball hitting coach Paco Crandall has been instructing hitters for nine years with great passion for the game.
