Obituary: Roberson, Erin O’Neill

ROBERSON, Erin O’Neill Erin O’Neill Roberson of Spokane, went home to be with Jesus on December 27, 2014.

Pancreatic cancer took his life but not his faith.

Son of Orval and Idalene (deceased) Roberson, Erin was born September 9, 1964 in Caldwell, ID.

He graduated from Middleton High School (ID) as valedictorian in 1983 and from Oregon State University in 1989 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

He married Roxanne Cada August 24, 1985.

He began his life’s work as a licensed professional engineer with Chevron and most recently was project manager for JHI Engineering.

He was a man who was transformed by God’s grace.

He loved his family and serving his church family as an elder.

He felt very blessed to be an engineer and to be privileged to use the skills that God gave him.

Erin is survived by his wife, Roxanne; daughter, Kaydee, and son, Kyle, all of Spokane; father, Orval of McCall, ID; sisters Rita Roberson of San Diego and Reola Strother of Bridgeport, TX; and brothers Rick Roberson of Boise and Wayne Roberson of Olympia.

The service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Northside Church of Christ, 5601 N. Jefferson St., Spokane.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Erin Roberson Memorial Fund at Spokane Teachers Credit Union.

The fund will be donated to Christ Kitchen of Spokane.
