Obituary: Stefani, Alberta (Dal Molin)
She was born Alberta Dal Molin to Narciso Dal Molin and Maria Gentiletti in St. Etienne, France on May 7, 1928.
Her parents soon moved back to the Friuli region of Italy where she was raised.
She was the oldest child and only girl with 5 adoring younger brothers who all preceded her in death.
After WWII and time spent living and working in the Vatican, she married Armando Stefani in 1956.
Armando immigrated to Spokane, WA.
shortly after their honeymoon.
A year later when her documents were in order, Alberta followed him.
She was a seamstress for over 30 years at Sacred Heart Medical Center and had many friends there.
She kept a beautiful home full of wonderful smells of Italian cooking.
She had a well-tended vegetable garden and a yard full of flowers that was admired by many driving on Grand Blvd.
She was the maker of elaborate picnics, which were enjoyed at nearby lakes and parks and road trips.
She loved to travel and explore new places all over the world.
Armando and Alberta lived in Spokane for about 35 years.
They then moved to Federal Way, WA.
where they lived over 20 years to be closer to their only child, Isabella, and their two grandsons.
Funeral services were Dec. 19, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way.
Alberta is survived by her husband, Armando Stefani, her daughter, Isabella Doxon (Mark), and her two grandsons, Cooper Doxon and Cole Doxon.
May she be joyfully reunited with her mother, father, and brothers and waiting patiently for the arrival of the rest of us.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Masses be celebrated and rosaries prayed in her honor.
