Obituary: Walsh, Michael Anthony
He served in the Army National Guard and worked at Nelson Landscape for many years.
He was a devoted husband and family man.
Between the years of 1946 and December of 2014 he made a wonderful family with his wife Gayle of 47 years.
They had three daughters, Nicki, Lisa and Shanda.
Nicki gave him six grandkids, Lisa gave him four: Sarah, Samantha, Jaylen and Joseph.
Shanda and her husband Victor gave him two grandkids: Mike and Shayla.
He got to meet his two great-grandkids, Janaya, age 6, and Ares, age two weeks.
He loved his holidays and his family and did all the roles - Santa, Cupid and the Easter Bunny, and he loved every second.
His Fridays and Sundays consisted of boxing and football, an interest he shared with his siblings, Kenny and Vicki Walsh, Linda Walsh, and Bud and Ronna Walsh.
He was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Walsh and his sister Carol Clark.
We will never forget you Papa, and we love you so much.
Live it up in paradise.
To my best friend in the whole world, my pops.
Big hugs and kisses, I will love you forever.
Love your Poopy-Doo-Janaya.
A celebration of life will be held at the Salvation Army, E. 222 Indiana, Friday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m.
