Rodgers, Lacy probable Sunday

Associated Press

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and running back Eddie Lacy were listed as probable on the injury report for this weekend’s NFC title game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Rodgers has been limited this week in practice with a lingering left calf injury.

“It’s painful. There’s stiffness involved. There’s constant, around-the-clock treatment,” Rodgers said Friday. “Hopefully, it feels pretty good on Sunday.”

Lacy was added to the injury report on Thursday with a sore knee. Coach Mike McCarthy has said he limited Lacy in practice as a precaution.

McCarthy said Rodgers and Lacy looked good on Friday, when the Packers didn’t practice.

“I’m not concerned. I’m chillin,”’ Lacy said.

While his mobility is limited, Rodgers has played well despite the injury. He was listed as probable last week before the playoff game against Dallas and went 24 of 35 for 316 yards with three touchdowns in a 26-21 win.

Seahawks RT Justin Britt questionable

Seattle starting right tackle Justin Britt is questionable for Sunday’s NFC championship game against Green Bay with a sore knee.

Britt was a limited participant in practice Friday. Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Britt got through last Saturday’s divisional playoff win over Carolina with no problem, but soreness developed in his knee on Monday and Tuesday.

Britt did not practice Wednesday, but went through a full workout Thursday.

Carroll said Alvin Bailey took some snaps at right tackle Friday and would be the presumptive starter if Britt can’t play.

Backup safety Jeron Johnson is the only other Seahawks player listed as questionable. Johnson is recovering from an elbow injury suffered in Week 17.
