Obituary: Gendreau O’Neill, Barbara
She was 83 years old.
Barbara was born in Spokane, Washington to Amadee J. Gendreau and Marie Gendreau.
She was the youngest of nine children and graduated from Rogers High School.
She was married to Gerald L. O’Neill for 60 years and they have six children, Shawna L. O’Neill, Daniel L. O’Neill, Kevin M. O’Neill, Patrick J. O’Neill, Brady J. O’Neill and Kelly P. O’Neill.
She enjoyed her Bridge Club, cooking, her 16 years of PTA service and the company of her wide circle of friends, and special relationships she had for over 40 years.
She was known as an energetic, passionate, “pesky”, generous friend and an outstanding loving Mother.
As a homemaker and while raising her six children she also travelled the world.
But most of all she enjoyed the company of her large family.
Barbara is survived by her loving sister Marcella Chronister of Spokane, WA, her six children and their spouses, 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral mass at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA on Friday, January 23, 2015.
A reception is to follow at Los Cerritos Community Center, 3377 Alder Ave. Fremont, CA.
