Obituary: Glover, Ardell V.
Born in Bismarck, ND to Anton and Viola Fischer, Dell moved with her family to Spokane when she was 12.
As the oldest daughter of eight children, she had a lot of responsibility but also a lot of fun.
She graduated from Rogers High School in 1948 and married Marv Glover in 1949.
They eventually settled in San Jose California where they raised their children.
Dell loved to sing and and was an accomplished quilter and stitcher.
She spent many hours gardening, knitting, canning, sewing and was rarely idle.
After retiring, she moved to Fall River Mills, CA and lived there for 20 years.
Her last years were spent in San Jose, with visits to Portland, Oregon during the summer.
She was loved by everyone who knew her; her sweet disposition and kind heart made her a favorite aunt, sister, cousin and friend.
Dell was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Gordon, Bob and Merlyn Fischer.
She is survived by sisters Audrey Hunt, Britta Hulbert and Venita Dupree; brother Guerin Fischer; children Ried Glover, Chris (Brian) Nakamoto, Connie (Michael) Brown and Charlie Glover; grandaughters, Britta, Kerri and Kylee; and her dear friend John Plog.
