Two Liberty Lake homes hit in egg incidents
Two Liberty Lake residents reported eggs were thrown at their houses during the week of Jan. 19 to Jan. 26. The first report came in from the 25000 block of East Pine Point Court just after 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 22. The resident reported that two people had thrown eggs at his home, said Police Chief Brian Asmus.
The second incident was reported in the 2000 block of North Winchester Street at 1 p.m. on Jan. 23. It’s unknown how many people were involved in that incident.

Jan. 20: A caller reported seeing someone walking in the area of Aladdin Road and Mission Avenue carrying a knife and a baseball bat. An officer contacted the man, who said he had pulled out his knife while walking near a large dog that had bitten him in the past.
Jan. 21: An officer spotted a damaged vehicle that was suspected of being involved in a hit and run accident on Jan. 20. The driver was arrested for hit and run.
Jan. 22: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 23000 block of East Settler Drive. The owner reported more than $350 worth of items missing and said the vehicle may have been unlocked.
A woman reported a missing child in the 21000 block of East Spotted Owl Lane. An officer found the child hiding in a closet.
Jan. 24: A resident reported hearing someone yelling in the 22000 block of East Country Vista Drive. An officer found a woman who said she had smoked marijuana and honey oil and was having anxiety attacks. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Arrests: Police made two arrests for driving with a suspended license.
Citations: Officers handed out six citations for speeding. Additional citations were given for failure to display snowmobile registration, license and plates required, allowing an unauthorized driver and driving without a license.
