Obituary: Ferraro, Louise

FERRARO, Louise December 8, 1923- June 11, 2015 Louise Ferraro was born in New York City, the third of eleven children born to Italian immigrants.

She married Carl Ferraro in 1948.

Louise loved being part of the US Air Force family.

She enjoyed travel- ing and Carl’s military assignments provided many opportunities for worldwide travel.

She lived in three foreign countries and seven states, gathering life-long friends wherever she went.

When Carl retired from the Air Force they settled in Spokane, WA, where they lived for over 30 years.

Shortly after her husband’s passing, she moved to the east coast to be near her son and family.

Louise had a vibrant personality and truly enjoyed meeting and visiting with people.

Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Louise was preceded in death by, Carl, her husband of over 60 years; her parents, Pietro and Angelina; daughter Mary; granddaughter Amy; brothers Joseph and Johnny; and sister Olga.

She is survived by sons Peter (Cynthia); Paul (Laura); daughter Carmel Ann; 5 grandchildren, Jillian, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Robert and David; 3 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Taliesin and William; sisters Anna and Irma; brother Rosario; and numerous nieces and nephews.
