Obituary: Floener, Elsie Elizabeth (Fogle)

FLOENER, Elsie Elizabeth (Fogle) Passed peacefully into God’s eternal care at Buena Vista Care Facility on July 8, 2015 at the age of 103.

Elsie was born October 28th, 1911 in Foreman, North Dakota to Ann and Frank Fogle.

Elsie had eight siblings.

Hazel Rettkowski (Spokane, WA) and Evelyn Weidman (Colville, WA).

Ott Fogle, Sylvia McDonald, Tom Fogle, Joe Fogle, Olive Rehm, Lester Fogle all preceded her in death.

On July 1, 1930 she married Marcel Camille Floener in Tepee Creek, Alberta, Canada.

They later moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada where they started a family, having three children.

Phyllis Colleen Whitten who preceded her in death (Carroll) - children Jeff Whitten and Camille Hattrick.

Laurence Marcel Floener, (Thelma-deceased) - children Joe Floener, Mike Floener, Pat Floener and Tim Floener.

Karen Joanne Bell (Erwin) - children Dawn Marie Novak, Eric Harris and Larch Harris (deceased).

Memorial gifts may be sent in Elsie’s honor to Catholic Charities or the Colville Food Bank.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colville, WA at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, WA at a later date.
