Age 81
Art was born on January 1, 1934 in Oil Trough, AR, the son of Arthur Peyton and Ida Rovena (Voyles) Rutledge.
Art was preceded in death by seven of his siblings, David Richard, Jim, Ira “Mutt”, Deliah Jane “Sis”, Virginia, Junior, Elizabeth; and his son, Richard in 2007.
Art is survived by his wife of 57 year, Glenda Rutledge, at the home; son, Ronald Rutledge Sr. and his wife, Debbie, Colville, WA; daughter, Renee Rutledge, Kettle Falls, WA; sister, Naomi Schlagenhauf, Belleview, FL; five grandchildren, Ron Rutledge Jr., Sandra Bagley, Jeffrey Rutledge, Shannon Himel, Paige Blackburn; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Tanner, Addison, Maci, Chelsee, Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews.
The memorial service for Mr. Arthur “Art” Rutledge will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 16 at the Colville Christian Church with Pastor Terry Walker officiating.
A niche placement will follow the service at the Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville.
