Age 53

RAMOS, Christina L. (Age 53) Christina L. Ramos, also known to friends as Christine or Tina passed away on Sunday July 5, 2015.

Born August 26, 1961 to David James McCarter and Carmen Elizabeth Curtis.

Christine spent her childhood in Richland, Washington where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Durkin.

One of her greatest joys was the birth of her son, Michael Durkin.

She was so proud of the outstanding young man and father he had become.

In 1998, she met her lifetime partner, Michael Ramos.

They were married on May 5th, 2000 (cinco de Mayo), They lived in Shreveport, LA and Grapevine, TX.

They then made their home in Spokane, Washington and shared a deep love for one another that only grew stronger with each passing year.

The bright colors she loved matched her personality.

Passionate about community and helping others, she formed strong supportive relationships with the people in her life.

Her experience made her an excellent mentor and friend to all, in times of joy and in times of struggle.

She leaves behind her husband, Michael Ramos, son Michael Durkin (Chani), mother Carmen Curtis, brother Ramiro Espinoza, and sisters Kelly (Robert), Deborah (Justin), cherished grandchildren Sierra, Aiden, Kadence and Brooklyn as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Bruce Durkin, father Thomas James Larson Sr., and brother Thomas Larson Jr. A bright and shining star has dimmed.

Christine loved deeply and laughed often.

She will be missed dearly by everyone.
