She was born on March 2, 1934 in Johnstown, PA to Andrew and Margaret (Slage) Barta.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lillian M. King; brothers, Peter, Ernest, Albert and Louis; sisters-in-law, Minnie, Pat, Emma, Mary and Esther.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 48 years (married July 2, 1967), Jerald C. Gruvman; children, Cynthia (Rudy) Coronado, Diana Gonzalez, Jackie Rutherford, Arthur J.
(Mimi) Gruvman; grandchildren, Traci, Shawn and Mary; great-grandchildren, Monique, Jordan and Kaydence; brothers, George and Elmer; sister-in-law, Jean Barta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, WA followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane.
