Obituary: Melchisedeck, Brett Allen

Age 34

MELCHISEDECK, Brett Allen (Age 34) Despite being diagnosed with a brain tumor 27 years ago and struggling from numerous complications, this strong young man, Brett Allen Melchisedeck, blessed us with his overwhelming good nature for 34 years.

Born March 16, 1981 in Spokane, WA to Barbara L. Soapes and Ken Melchisedeck, Brett left this Earth on July 16, 2015 in Spokane, WA.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Brian Veltry, stepbrother, Eric Melchisedeck; niece, Jayme Valle (Zack); greatniece Ridley and numerous aunts and uncles.

From the very start of this strong mother/son journey, Barbara will be the first to say that he always maintained a good attitude, was never one to complain and was such a joy to be around.

He was very much a strong-willed man and we will miss his smile and personality forever.

Throughout all his turmoils in life, he was proud to say he was an employee at Zieglers Lumber Co. in Spokane where he enjoyed building shelves, bird houses and putting together his own computer and fixing all his electronic equipment.

He loved taking walks with Mom and also pulling a few slot machines as well as tinkering in his own shop in the backyard.

“We Love you, Brett!

now is the time to go into the arms of Gramma Millie”.

The family will be having a private Celebration of Brett’s Life on August 1, 2015.
