Obituary: Wright, Nettie Mae (Peaslee)

Age 97

WRIGHT, Nettie Mae (Peaslee) Passed away July 25, 2015 in Spokane, WA.

She was born March 29, 1918 in a log cabin in Innisfree, Alberta, Canada, the youngest of eight children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Alice Peaslee, all of her siblings, and Clyde Wright, her loving and devoted husband of 66 years.

Nettie is survived by her two daughters, Dianne (Tom) McPherson of Wilbur, WA and Darlene (Bob) Linahan of Beaverton, OR; four grandchildren, Michael McPherson of Santa Monica CA, Carol (Conrad) Boylan of Beaverton OR, Stephanie (Adam) Britton of Snoqualmie WA, and Sandra Linahan of Beaverton, OR; and six great-grandchildren: Corbin, Cole, Jack, Allison, Carly and Cooper.

Nettie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to working with Clyde on the family farm, Nettie worked at numerous jobs away from the farm.

She was a jewelry buyer, an assistant to the vice-president of an insurance company, and an assistant to two oral surgeons.

She loved swimming, dancing, sewing, gardening and traveling.

Her favorite pastime was being with her family.

A funeral will be held July 25, 2015 in the Mt.

Hope Community Church at 11:00 AM, followed by burial in the adjoining Mt.

Hope Cemetery.

Pastor Roger Hudson will officiate.

Following the service, lunch will be served at the home of Walt and Cynda Adams.
