Obituary: Kinnan, Joleen Kathryn “Katie”

KINNAN, Joleen Kathryn “Katie” (Age 85) Joleen “Katie” Kinnan, of Spokane, WA passed away on July 16, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Bend, OR on February 14, 1930, Katie was the loving daughter of Bessie M. Skiles (1909-1954) and Harvey Kinnan Jr. (1908-1936).

Katie first arrived in Spokane in 1950 after marrying Larry Dean Clark in Colville, WA where she grew up.

Katie is survived by her two daughters, Kathryn Clark and Holly Clark-McGill of Seattle, WA and two sons, Greg Clark of Plano, TX and Steven Clark of Fort Collins, CO. Katie is also survived by her two loving grandsons, Hunter and Ryan Clark, also living in the Plano, TX area.

Katie was an avid collector of Hummels, antique furniture and blown glass of all shapes and sizes.

She also loved her cats over the years including Honey Bear who lived for an amazing 20 years.

Katie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
