Quotes in brief misattributed

A news brief about a 72-hour commercial vehicle inspection program in Wednesday’s newspaper on page A6 incorrectly attributed two quotes. The correct attributions are below:

“If I can walk out of my career and say I saved one person’s life, I’d say I had a successful career,” said Florida Highway Patrol Capt. Derek Barrs.

“It’s not our goal to write tickets,” said Washington State Patrol Capt. Mike Dahl. “It’s to change behavior.”
