Obituary: Fish, David Louis “Sonny”

FISH, David Louis “Sonny” Was born in Spokane, Washington on January 10th, 1932.

He graduated from North Central High School and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

David married his lifelong partner Dolores in June of 1954.

He joined the Spokane Fire Department in 1959 and was a member of the department until his retirement, serving at various stations in Spokane.

He passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2015.

He was so talented with building and repairing everything from old cars to refurbishing old homes.

He enjoyed boating with family and friends, woodworking, dogs, and traveling to visit family and friends.

They especially enjoyed annual trips to the Oregon Coast for vacations.

Dave and Delores had three children, Doug (Jeanette) Salem, Oregon, Connie (Kevin) Spokane, and Dan in Seattle.

He is survived by his wife Dolores, three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

At his request, no memorial service will be held.
