Obituary: Witter, Donald E.

Age 79

WITTER, Donald E. Don passed away peacefully on June 7, 2015.

He was born January 20, 1936 to Earl and Marie Witter in Spokane, WA.

He attended Lewis & Clark High School.

After high school, he was in the US Army National Guard for 10 years.

He worked for the City of Spokane Water Department for 35 years until retirement in 1987.

Don was a master mechanic and he was always willing to help anyone in need.

Don enjoyed his family and friends, and was always giving and caring to all.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Nible, and his brothers: Bob, Earl, Gary, and Dick.

He was survived by his brothers, Paul and Merle (Butch) Witter; sisters: Margaery Andrews, Marilyn Nible, Diane Stoaks, Karen Witter, and Lynnette Pearson; stepdaughter, Bonnie Morse (Kenny); three granddaughters; five great-granddaughters, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Don’s memorial service will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, June 16 at 11 am.
