Obituary: St. Germain, George Allen

Age 82

ST.GERMAIN, George Allen Of Chattaroy, WA was born May 2, 1933 and died June 20, 2015.

He is survived by his five children Terry Pennington (Dave), Patty Hirst (Rocky), Chris Brown (Ken), Tina York (Don) and George St. Germain (Chip), sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grand-children, his brother Lawrence St. Germain as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime friend and confidant Connie Rizzuto.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Art, sisters Shirley, Bessie and Margie, daughter Linda Marie, ex-spouse Diana, and the love of his life Beverly.

George was born in Spokane, WA to Carl and Ellen St.Germain.

He was raised in Seven Mile and graduated from Mead High School then served in the Army.

George married Diana Baker in 1957 (divorced 1979).

After living in Deer Park and Spokane, he and Diana returned to Seven Mile to raise their children on the old farm where he himself was born and raised.

George continued to farm the land while he also worked as a crane operator for Kaiser Aluminum until he retired in 1982.

Shortly after retirement, George moved to Chattaroy where he lived and farmed with his companion Beverly for seventeen years.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 26th 4:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
