Car stolen again after driver accosted
If at first you don’t succeed, steal it again.
That appears to be the motto of a man who approached a woman in Liberty Lake last week and told her that when her car was stolen, his personal items happened to have been left inside it. The woman ignored the man, who followed her to a different location and confronted her again. She parked her car at her apartment complex in the 25000 block of East Hawkstone Loop. On the afternoon on June 17, the next time she left her apartment to go to her car, it was gone.
It appears that someone shot a cat with an Air Soft gun in the area of the 800 block of North Swing Street. A woman on that block reported letting her cat outside as usual in the morning on June 20. It returned a short time later, limping. A veterinarian confirmed that the animal had been shot.
