SPOKANE – The Spokane Public Library has announced a new partnership with Hoopla Digital.
Library cardholders can stream or download Hoopla’s content for free, including movies, TV shows, music, ebooks and audiobooks.
To access content on Hoopla, users must have a library card and PIN.

BROWNE’S ADDITION – Summer concerts in Coeur d’Alene Park kick off July 2 with Cary Fly.
The Browne’s Addition Summer Concerts series continues weekly with concerts at 6 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 27.

Dinner, dancing at senior center
SOUTH HILL – The Southside Senior and Community Center will host a western-themed dinner and dance Friday.
The evening will feature a rib dinner and music from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. There will also be a raffle for prizes include patio furniture and a fire pit.
The event is from 5 to 8 p.m. at the community center, 3151 E. 27th Ave. Admission is $14 for center members, $18 for nonmembers. For more information, call (509) 535-0803.
Millwood hosts Cherry Splat
MILLWOOD – The Millwood Farmers Market is inviting children to come to a Cherry Splat.
Children will use slingshots to shoot cherries at a target for a chance at prizes. There will also be coloring sheets, tips and tricks, and cherry recipes.
The event is 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at the market, 3223 N. Marguerite Road.
