Obituary: Cool, Ada Alice
She was married to John Henry Kappler on July 12, 1941.
Together they had three children: Teddie Gamble, Virginia Albarado and John Kappler Jr. She also enjoyed 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
After the death of her husband, John Sr. in 1956, Ada moved to Modesto, California and provided for her family as a Stanley Home Products Unit Manager.
In 1964, Ada moved to San Mateo, California and married Ray Cool.
There Ada worked as a crossing guard for the city of San Mateo and as a nanny for local families.
In 2004, Ada went to live with her daughter in Spokane, Washington.
Ada enjoyed playing Bingo and being with family.
She arranged many family dinners and get-togethers, including Christmas overnighters and three trips to Disneyland.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, and her daughter, Virginia.
Ada will be laid to rest at Olivet Memorial Park in Colma, California, on July 12, 2015.
A Graveside service will be held in the Garden of Memory at 11:00 am.
