Obituary: Jayne, Margaret

JAYNE, Margaret In Remembrance Margaret Jayne and her twin sister Evelyn were born February 8, 1914 on a farm outside Pine City, WA to John and May Sibbald.

She married the love of her life, Laurence Jayne in 1945, and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage.

After marriage, Margaret lived 11 years in Davenport, and then moved to Renton, Washington for 18 years before returning to Davenport for 37 years.

Her last four years she has resided at Evergreen Fountains, in the Spokane Valley.

While in Davenport, Margaret was very active with the Lincoln County Museum and Methodist Church.

Margaret died on June 17, 2015 at the age of 101.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas (and Mary) and Donald (and Darrin); three grandchildren Robert, Bryan (and Jenni) and Aryn (and Scott); and six great-grandchildren (Mallory, Cameron, Ilea, Ellis, Sean and Theo).

Margaret lived a long life filled with rich experiences and accomplishments and cherished family relationships.

She had an amazing zest for life, loved people and took extraordinary interest in the lives of others.

Margaret was a true inspiration to all who knew her.

God bless the memory of Margaret as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grand- mother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at Twin Lakes, Idaho on July 25th.
